Getting excited

Well all the hard work has paid off and we are finally ready for the fair. Here are some photos of what we have available for sale.

Keep NZ Beautiful Week

Yesterday a group of EnviroHeroes went to the Liffey with the Kindergarten, High School, EnviroSchools, EnviroTown Lincoln and Water Watch to do a clean up and monitoring of the Liffey Stream. It was a bit sad to see that the quality of the Liffey had deteriorated since we were there 2 years ago. We were cheered up by a yummy sausage or 2 from Lincoln New World.

Spring Fair

Today we had a great time getting our bird feeders started for the Enviro 'Spring Fair' Stall. Everyone worked well together and the older children looked after the younger children well.

More berries

Today we added 2 Boysenberry, 1 Gooseberry and 1 Cranberry plant to our berry garden. We were all talking about the yummy things we can do with these in a year or two.

Syndicate 3 Garden Wars

Well done to Syndicate 3 for running an Enviro Enrichment activity - Syndicate 3 Garden Wars. Looks like it was an informative and very hands on programme.

Pumpkin Sale

On Friday 3 of our EnviroHeroes sold pumpkins after school. We made $21.00 which we will spend on more vegetable plants. Well done team!! Here are some photos.
